Guest guest
Hello, Does anybody know how to make sherbet w/o dairy or eggs...I am not a fan of using raw eggs in food - especially when the eggs won't be cooked, i.e. ice cream. So, if anybody has a recipe that is dairy and egg free, that would be great. Please reply. Dan Be smarter than spam. See how smart SpamGuard is at giving junk email the boot with the All-new Yahoo! Guest guest
Hi, Dan, Here's a peach sherbet recipe w/o dairy or eggs, but it's not legal due to the sugar. You can experiment with honey. http://recipes.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Peach_Sherbet_Recipe_1 By the way, I did see some pasteurized egg whites with no additives listed at Wild Oats recently. It was by Organic Valley. It's funny how most sherbet recipes call for milk or for egg white. Have you joined SCD Recipe Creators?
