Guest guest
Years ago while working with a multiple-handicapped boy, I contracted ringworm. This poor young man always had ringworm and any time anyone got it, it was difficult to get rid of. I had a huge battle fighting it and it continued to spread; patches erupted all over my body. Topical stuff didn't cut it and I finally had to take strong oral anti-fungals. Since then, I've had my ringworm come back a few times, always in the same place on my arm. The last time I found an over-the-counter cream that worked and it went away within a week or two. I know one of those times I reinfected myself by wearing a flannel that I didn't wash as carefully. Now it's back again and I have no idea why. I started the intro on 8-16-07. Is it possible that my ringworm resurfacing is part of die-off? I read online somewhere that chronic fungal infections could be a sign of yeast overgrowth. I know that on SCD the yeast sometimes gets worse before it get better. Has anyone had issues like this before? Any thoughts? I really want this problem to go away and stay away.
