Guest guest
Dear Listmates, We have an 8-year-old autistic son. We have followed the CF/GF and then the LOD for over 2 years. He had made steady progress. However, his stool is mushy most of the time and we have to fight for yeast from time to time (with anti-yeast Rx). We decided to give SCD a try after reading up on it. Our frist question is if it is necessary for us to start at Stage one even though he is already on many food on the advanced stages. Any input/comments is greatly appreciated. If you start with the intro diet to clean things out for 2-3 days and then gradually add foods you will get a better idea of which foods he tolerates now and which foods he will need to wait to eat until more healing occurs.
