I think going back to the intro would be helpful in eliminating the gut bugs. Your anti-bacterial doesn't seem to have any illegals in it if that is all it contains. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Hi Joy, Here's a link to the strains in VSL#3. Among other things, it contains bifidus, which is not legal and has caused problems for many people: http://www.vsl3.com/VSL3/healthcare.asp Before I started SCD, I tried Dioxychlor and reacted badly to it. It's been so long that I don't remember exactly what happened--sorry. If it were me (as an adult), I would go back to the intro diet and start over without supplements, including probiotics, and do a few days of just the intro and then proceed from there according to Elaine's instructions. SCD alone has worked wonders for many people. Since your daughter responded well initially, it is encouraging that SCD will work for her, but it's hard to say how long it will take to rebound from the VSL#3. I know it's discouraging to have to start over, but hang in there. The efforts will be well worth it. SCD saved my life. Better days ahead, --- joyous2go wrote: > > >Hi > > Can't believe VSL#3 isn't legal, I'm gutted. She's > been on it for > about 4 months and I thought it was ok.
