My name is Blake and I just had my surgery last Tues. (19th). Is is normal

to have no feeling of hunger at all. I literally have to remind myself to

eat soup and drink. Thanks!

Blake,

I wasn't hungry for THREE MONTHS. So you are very normal. Just take this time

to ease into you new way of eating. Your appetite will return, but you will

NEVER eat the way you did prior to surgery. :-) Your bondage to food is

Blake:

I have to remind myself to eat as well......and I had surgery on 11-8. My

first week I hardly ate anything, but tried to drink as much Gatorade as I

could. After the first two weeks I started to get better about eating, but I

am still not hungry most of the time.

Are you bragging or complaining!!!! : )

To my knowledge there is no normal! If you need to remind yourself to eat,

certainly do so. Probably you will have different experiences as you go along:

sometimes you will feel ravenous; other times you will feel indifferent. Good

luck!

OH... NOW WAIT A MINUTE ON THAT ONE...LOL, I'm hungry alot, especially when I am

out on the road and I see an old familiar place where I use to stuff myself!!

But, what I've learned is: even tho. I may feel very hungry, I'm only gonna get

a couple of bites (6-8) of anything, and I'll have to stop. The belly is FULL..

Hi Blake:

I was the same way while on liquids. I was not hungry at all. Once I

started to eat soft foods then I started to feel empty and hungry. Strange,

huh???
