Hi everyone, I just want to let everyone know about my weight loss. I

went to the docs office today to weigh myself because I wouldn't

believe my scales at home. I have lost 18#'s! Can you believe it? I

didn't even feel like I had lost 1#. I stoped by my work today to see

everyone and nobody can believe how good I look and feel. Same with

the girls at my doctors office. I can't believe it myself. I am so

happy I could just sh**! Well okay, I settle for passing gas! :>)

If I was standing beside you after that statement to , I would bump

your hip and say.... " You go girl " ...lol

I have had those same feelings and although I have been concerned....IF it is

all the truth! I also wondered if she was a plant in here just to cause

problems by LT.

hi trudy wanted to let you know the only complication i have had since

surgery is that the opening of my stomach was to small and they had to go

back in and open it now i am fine now iam starting to eat a few things now

but i feel great so thanks for you remarks vanessa from ohio.

Another thing to consider is starting weight. It is not uncommon for the

super MO to lose more quickly. So, weight loss is relative. We are succeeding

if we are losing weight...any amount.

I am happy that you're loosing weight, but I really do think you should warn

pre-ops of the complications you have suffered since surgery. and that your

weight loss is not normal even with the rouxen-y surgery virsus the MGB.

Making statements about your weight loss as though you are bragging, and

giving some pre-ops false hopes is not really helpful, okay?

I don't mean to come down on you, I just worry about your health because

loosing that quickly can not be healthy, and as you have found out, you have

some severe complications.

Please tell your story completely to the new people on here, so they will

understand this is not a normal weight loss, and they will be aware of a

problem if it happens to them.

I don't see that you said anything wrong. We all care about , and I

think it is important to know her surgery is different that the mgb. Some

probably assume she had the mgb since she's on this list. I know, I did at

first.

But we all wish her well and happy for her success!

great deal of weight, she found out recently that she had complications, and was

unable to eat, and that her doctor had to do another surgery on her to repair

something..

Ask her about that... otherwise tell me from which time I mentioned

complications, I have none!!

great deal of weight, she found out recently that she had complications, and was

unable to eat, and that her doctor had to do another surgery on her to repair

something..

I feel the same way le, and I keep telling my buddy, Jude that because I

was 75 lbs more than her thats why I am loosing a little quicker.. don't really

matter, it's going down that counts.

But, I do know we have all been concerned over 's rapid loss. She kept

posting she wasn't able to eat, and then posted that she had ulcers and other

complications and thats why she was unable to loose, so many of us posted our

concern and pleaded that she see your PCP or surgeon to make sure all was okay

with her.

I just felt..( silly me), that pre ops needed to know that she did not have the

MGB, and her weight loss and complications might differ from our own.

By the way I am sorry to hear about your gastritus (sp) and I hope something

can be done so you will feel better.
