I dont think 's feelings should be hurt. It was only pointed out that

others should not expect the same results. She had more weight to lose, a

different surgery and complications after the surgery. All that was said is

that others should not look for 70 lb losses in 30+ days. I see no reason

for her to leave or have her feelings hurt by anything that was said.

...don't go. You add diversity to the list. I am not jealous of

your

loss. You deserve it. We all had the surgery because we need to lose

weight.

I don't begrudge your big loss. This is a journey... We all have the same

struggle...

Flo...get to stay...and spank the one who hurt 's

feelings...

le, I think these are important comments and we want all kinds of

people here, not just MGB people from Dr. R? I think we can all learn

from each other and I hate to see someone's feelings get hurt. Larice

Please don't leave the list. Your information is very important to all of

us pre-ops. We hope that everyone is honest with us, good and bad. We rely

on all the post-ops for their experiences so that we can make an educated

decision on what is right for each of us.

Weight loss is your goal, you just happen to be acheiving your goal quicker

than most. Fantastic for you!! It will probably slow down a bit now that

you've had your problem corrected. This could happen to any one of us

having gastric bypass surgery of any type. As with you, this is totally new

to each of us as we cross over to post-op. It takes us time to learn if

things are " normal " or not. Roux n Y, or MGB, it is a complete change of

lifestyle. A whole new world of learning. But, you certainly know this

better than I do. I am hoping to have the MGB soon!!!

I wish the very best to you. Please stay with us and continue to share your

valuable experiences.

Take care and God bless.

I agree with . No one meant anything derogatory towards -

the point that was trying to be made (at least as far as I understood it)

was that someone brand new might read a post from her and think " Whoa! Some

people are losing 70 pounds a months! Is this typical? " Like many of the

post-oppers sign off with their date of surgery, pre and current weight,

perhaps should sign her name, type of surgery, and even that she had

a complication that was corrected. That's alot to write, but people just

won't know what to think if all that is posted is : 70 pounds lost in 4

weeksfeeling much better love

Anyway, I hate to have misunderstandings and such, so stay on -

we were all rooting for you, and worried about you, and are glad that things

are better. No hard feelings huh?

Dear ,

Sorry to say this but I think you are making a mountain out of a moe hill and

it really isnt necessary. We all care what happens to you and how you are

doing and have expressed it numerous times. Things are said to you out of

concern not to criticize you for having a different proceedure. I have never

seen anyone on this site chastize you for not having the MGB, in fact it was

quite the contrary. We all care about you and what you have to say no matter

what it is. No offense but get over it please.

Hi , my name is and I'm considering having WLS. I see you had a

different operation than everybody else. What kind of operation did you have?

How do you think you're results compare to the others who had the MGB. I'd

appreciate hearing from you, .
