You should go to Dr. R's site at clos.net and it lists complications

associated with this surgery. There are risks and if you choose to proceed

with the mgb, in your research that Dr. R requires us to do you'll learn all

the risks and benefits to surgery. As far as feeling deprived, there are

post-ops that you'll visit with (which is also part of your packet) that you

can ask these questions to. You'll have to contact patients and ask them

about their experience and most share openly.

Best of luck.

Can anyone tell me if anyone has problems with this surgery? I have been

reviewing the materials on both the site and the web and have loads of

questions that I want to ask. I was hoping that some of them would be

addressed in the eGroup. ITs the first time I have ever belonged to an

eGroup so I'm not real sure of the protocol but I would be interested if

anyone who has it done feels deprived? depressed? or has had any problems

medically?
