Guest guest
Mark, that is interesting that you found web sites that support what I have always believed. If you are not a diabetic, your blood sugar will remain pretty stable no matter what you do or do not eat. I know that was the case for me until 3 months after I started back having major attacks of acute panc. My mom would bug me all the time to check my blood sugar because she was a diabetic. It was always perfect no matter whether I'd just pigged out, had a healthy meal, or had nothing for hours. W
Guest guest
This blood sugar thing is interesting to me. I have never had problems with my BS until the pancreatitis. Usually only in the p.m. my BS run about 170-300. Only 250 and above about three or four times. I have coverage of insulin to give but I have only used it a couple times. The BS levels usually come down on their own. Trey tell me this is insulin resistance. They told me to stay away from concentrated sweets I have severe candida growth in my gut, lung, and a terrible fungus and candida in my fingers. I have very few fingernails. I am so self conscious of it. In fact the fungal growth is so bad I have fever now and have grown in blood cultures a fungus. They took out my IC line yesterday. I felt like I lost my best friend, it had been in for 18 months. Too much to deal with sometimes. Please let me know what you think about the BS and this yeast overgrowth. This group is awesome. I could never have made it over the past year without you all. Prayers for pain free days. Deb
