Guest guest
: I am glad we became friends too. I completely understand what you mean about having help but...they don't do it the way you would've. I hate being sick and looking around the house and thinking this is a pigsty and then I get more upset b/c I feel like no one does anything! However, my family and I (it is just my husband & daughter) have come to the conclusion that when I start showing signs of getting worse they pitch in and help so we get along a little better when I am sick. I live in andria, Indiana. I do have a cousin that lives in CA how close are you to ez? I am glad you got your tube out today, hope it helps a little. Some drs I have been to do make you feel like you are below them...I don't think it is just your self-esteem, I really think they really think it so that's how they come off. You can email me anytime with anything I try to read the posts but finding it harder and harder to do at work, we have a deadline coming up so email gets checked more during the day (don't worry I still have time to get away with some stuff LOL). I hope you are having a better day than you've been having. Teal
Guest guest
Mark, Kurt meant that he and K are both having surgery (OR=Operating Room). Sorry about the mixup. Guest guest
K, Sure! You can ask me anything you want. In June of 04 I started getting realy sick, really fast. Gallbladder, panc and kidneys. Long story short, it was determined my gallbladder needed to come out. I shopped around for a surg I felt comforable with. Finally, on 28 Oct, I had it removed. Right away I knew something was not right. Not necesassrily wrong, but not right. About 24 later, I knew something was seriously wrong. My dad tested my BS for me, and I said no dad, Inside, something is wrong. 2 weeks later, I went back to see my surg. He was puzzled, but he did believe me. He was so concerned, thatnk God, that he kept refering me until someone could help me. By the time Jan came around and I had my 1st ercp, I was almost dead. My gallbladder was conpensating for my bad pan, when the gallbladder went bad, my kidneys were compensating. I don't konw how maby times my doc has said how I really need my gallbladder. My bile ducts shriveld up into a ball, they self destructed. I din't have gallstones either, we thought at first maybe one was in the bile duct. I chose the right doc to remove it, unfortunately, I chose the wrong hospital. One nurse actually told me she thought I just had the flu??? In the middle of summer?? I never get the flu and clearly, it was a panc attack that went on for months. So yeah, I wish I had my gallbladder back or at least I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have planned better. The doc did tell me before he removed it what could go wrong. I knew in the pit of my stomach this was going to open a huge can of worms... you just know. I wish you all the best in yours-Kat clay kuntz wrote:Kathleen, Can I ask why you wish you could have your gallbladder back?
