Guest guest
Chrissy, I'm aghast, too, to hear that this doctor hadn't instructed this poor woman more about pancreatitis. Thank heavens you were able to help her....I'm sure that you told her everything you know that could help her, and were an excellent teacher with this. But it FLOORS me that her doctor hadn't helped her already....there's just no excuse for that!!! It's probably not ethical for you to get together with him and give him a tongue lashing for leaving the poor woman out in the cold....but I sure wish you could! Don't think it would help your reputation, though, if you were to try to apply for a position at MUSC after you'd burned one of their doctors, though, would it? It's great that you were able to help this woman, and I expect that she may be calling you again for support or questions...you would be so good as a counselor or consultant in this area, or for that matter, so many other medical issues. I'm really glad that you were able to help her. It does sound like you're feeling better, and I'm happy for that. Keep up the good work! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
