Well, it seems that these SOD atacks are going to be with me FOREVER !!

My panc pain seems to be manageable with the pain meds. But the SOD

attacks keep coming!! I went out to dinner last night, for my

husbands birthday, and after 2 bites of food , whammo!!! I took my

oxycotin and thought I'd be fine in about 15 minutes. Well after

fifteen minutes of my hands shaking badly (because of the pain), I had

to leave the table and go out to the car! I just sat and cried. I

took more pain meds while in the car and finally got relief 1 1/2

hours later. Of course I was extremely nauseous the whole way home,

and it was a 35 mile drive too!! Sorry to sound like a baby...guys.

I just get sooo depressed and frustrated when I get these SOD

attacks. They come on so suddenly and furious that it takes me a

couple of days to recover. I am also concerned because it took alot

more pain meds to get it under control (more than usual). Which I

guess means that another trip to Indy is probably in my near future.

I plan on calling my GI doc, and scheduling an appointment to discuss

my options, (if I have any left). I have been fighting with the SOD

for 7 years and the CP for approximately 5 years. Is there ever going

to be an end for this?? Chrissy....didn't you have some sort of

procedure called a sphincteraplasty (sp?).. I want this d@#* thing

out !!

Well, sorry to vent, but I know this is the place to be when I am

feeling the way that I do. I am VERY grateful for this site and all

the people on it.

Hope everyone is having a good pain day .

Take care

Kris in TN
