Guest guest
Does anyone get a swollen throat and it hurts all the time? I have not had any kind of tube down my throat in 3 months, so it's not that. Of course I have not mentioned it to my doc...does it matter? Is it " normal " ? Guest guest
Kathleen, Wanted to respond. I had a swollen throat...very visably swollen to say the least. It hurt to talk, to eat, to swollow, to turn my head and to just be alive. My FNP kept telling me was allergies and take steroids and it will be better. I refused steroids of course, and after 2 months of this crap I was still ill. Finally she tested me for a thyroid problem and in all that stupid time she wasted on my " allergy throat problem " my thyroid blew out! Please get that tested to see if that could be contributing to your problem. It is a simple blood test that takes 3 days for the result.
