Hi Kathleen, the reason why in research they dont tell the patients the

results (and not all research is done that way) is that if they know

certain partiuclars the patient may, even unconsciously, do things to

alter their health changing thier status, thus leading to inaccurate

findings.

Also about the rash. I had a horrible itchy redish rash on my hands

face and neck. It turned out to be a fungal infection due to being

immunocommpramised by malnutrition. I got some prescription meds and a

cream and it cleared up.
