I did not know that one could get oxy with tylenol at all. I thought

that was the hydrocodone and yup your right it was a huge pill. One

should not have more then 4grams of tylenol a day and that being for

only 2 weeks. If a person needs to be on long term tylenol therapy

then the daily dose should not exceed 2.6 grams.

Oxycodone comes in 5mg tabs and 10-20mg suppositories, according to

my drug book which is a few years old. It is a tiny pill. I was

taking the pill 10-15mgs for breakthrough on top of the 40mg of

oxycontin 2x a day. I stopped the contin and was just taking the

immediate release after that last few surgeries. I ran out today and

am trying to see if I need more.

I know what you mean about taking large doses and not feeling dopey.

When I had the full blown cp I was taking so much dialudid and

demerol I amazed I could even function, but without it I could barely

even breathe. Just please promise me you will be very cautious with

breaking that contin until you have a chance to talk with Lehman.

The contin is the drug that street thugs go nuts for. They crush it

and smnoke or snort it whatever and are dropping like flies. I know

that you are far more cautious then that but do keep in mind the

risks.

I hope you feel better soon but I gotta get off line my teen age son

is having a fit because he is expecting a call. Guess it must be a

gil...LOL. You are in my prayers honey.

Warmly,
