Guest guest
Debs, I had the trigger point injections done by a surgeon, in the hope that surgical adhesions were causing at least some of my pain. I'd like to caution you about a problem I ran into - not enough anesthesia! They had gone ahead and planned the anesthetic without verifying allergies, and sure enough, I am allergic to one of the meds they planned to use. So they went ahead and did the injections while I was basically wide awake, and after about the third one, I grabbed his hand and said STOP that right now! It was hideously painful, AND it had the unfortunate effect of aggravating the pancreas right into an acute attack! SO, do discuss this fully, beforehand, with your surgeon. I hope this helps you, but for me it was futile. Best of luck to you, in Indy
