Guest guest
Hi Kris, Please be careful in just how you talk to your doctor. I suggest talking is fine, clairifaction is fine, but let the doctor lead and you have a talk, get clear on their directions, but play your own cards close to your vest. People who panic about addiction to opiates are not chronic Panc. sufferers. Just be calm and cool and keep your objectives clear and in mind. Best Wishes, Poncho - GA PS I'm happy with my treatment and doseage but if for some reason someone would try to modify my treatment to satisify their objective, then I could be in a world of hurt and I just don't want to be there any more than absolutely necessary. Guest guest
Thanks for all the information. The thing is ...I WAS following my doctors advice. At least I thought I was. Otherwise I would have never thought of splitting the pills. Nor was I aware that the drug users on the street were taking the oxy this way. I guess you learn something new everyday! Also, I take demerol on a daily basis for my CP pain, and it works very well. I only took the oxy when a SOD attack happened, and it would calm down the attack within 30 minutes. Nothing else on the market stops the attacks except nitro. Anyway, I do intend to talk to my doc about this so he is aware and I'm aware of what I can and can't take, etc. Thanks again.
