Hols and hope

Hi everyone,

I'm off to France (Provence) for a couple of weeks so probably won't

look in on the site until I come back.

I'm going through a bad patch at the moment. I have pancreatic pain

and also a problem with my nasal passages and left ear. GP is

arranging hospital appt for me to have camera up nose. Needless to

add, I'm worried! Seems like constant cold goimng on for

months.....no sense of smell, catarrh all the time etc. etc.

Husband, Jim, will be having radiotherapy when we come back for his

prostate cancer. A few rogue cells have remained after

surgery....hopefully local and will respond to treatment.

Not my best time, I know, and I haven't been much use on the board

recently. Hope you'll excuse me. I'm not my normal cheerfull self

just now. I think exhaustion after the term also plays its part. I

think retirement calls for July 2206, if not earlier! In the

meantime we hope to enjoy the sunshine and beauty of Provence, even

if the best local food and wine are only for Jim! Beautiful salads

and fruits as well, though!
