Hi Cindy,

When I have taken hydrocodone/apap or hydrocodone ES, or any of the

Vicodin, Lortabs, it has always been given every 4-6 hours as needed

for pain. I was unaware that there was a long acting hydrocodone,

just the oxycodone. I would double check with your doctor - does he

have an answering service where you could have him call you? Good

luck. LInda--- .

Cindy,

I have never heard of taking one a day. One every 4-6 hours is the norm. I

would call and question that for sure!
