Guest guest
Chrissy, Hi I just wanted to ask you another question about the pain meds situation. I had another attack last night and took 2 of my pain pills (50mg each of demerol w/phenergan). I did NOT take any Oxycotin. I did suffer with terrible pain for 2 hours before I passed out from exhaustion. And I think I passed out with my head hanging over the bucket with severe nausau. I think I got maybe 3-4 hours of sleep. Anyway I want to make sure I am getting this straight. Oxycodone is the fast acting pain medication WITHOUT the tylenol. Percocet is the same medication as Oxycodone but WITH the tylenol. AND Oxycotin is the same medication as oxycodone but in a slow release formula. Am I getting this straight? Thanks Kris in TN

Am I getting this straight? ------------------------------------------------------- HI Kris, Yes, but the slow release one is spelled OxycoNtin. If your taking Mepergan Fortes, the demerol with pherergan, and your still having nausea and vomiting I would suggest you ask your doc for some Zofran. Its the only thing that worked for me. I am so sorry that you are having such a rough spell. I wish there was something I could do to help you. Just try to focus on knowing that there are better days ahead. I know how you feel hon, I've been there too. Keep in touch please.
