Hi guys,

I have had a miserable weekend. I ran out of oxycodone on Friday and my docs

here will not prescribe it for me. Dr. Adam's and were out of town

until Monday. I have managed to keep the pain under control with some

hydrocodone

I had stashed. ( I will stash some oxycodone from now on.) Anyway, my

question is can you take oxycotin with oxycodone for breakthrough pain? Dr.

Adam's

has mentioned the last few visits about putting me on oxycotin. I am going to

ask them about that tomorrow and will have to drive to ton to get my

prescriptions. It is a bummer to have to drive 2 1/2 hours to get pain scripts!

I

go to the pain management doc on Thurs. so hopefully I won't have to go

through this anymore. In order to get my pain meds I have to go to the ER. My

family

doc stopped prescribing pain meds for me. His reasoning is that he no longer

wants to treat me for my pancreatitis that Dr. Adam's should do that. My GI

doc will only prescribe hydrocodone. Which does not help the pain as much and I

don't want to take all of that tylenol and damage my liver. So I have managed

to do liquids and lay low this weekend and stay out of the ER barely. I really

didn't want to go. Anyway, I was just wandering if they can be used together.

I know this has already probably been answered before but I forgot! Dumb me!

Thanks guys!
