Hi Angie! This is the other S.C. chickee.....yes you can take

Oxycodone for break thru pain with Oxycotin. I am on Oxycotin, which

recently just came out with a generic (hallaluyah!)and I take the 10

mg. of Oxycodone for break-thru quite often. Can't believe u have to

drive that far for your prescriptions! That is horrible! Are u

talking as in Hoffman? She is my doc, she is so sweet,

I

really like her! Anyway......just thought I'd put my 2 cents in!

And

.......stop talking about those hamburgers & fries you are

stuffing!!!! I am getting jealous! How is my orchid? Alive I trust?

Cindy & are actually getting together this week if one of us

is

not sick, so pray for us, okay? Love & best wishes to all, in

ton (still the Eskimo woman, even with the heat.....now it's

the

AC I have to deal with!)

Thanks so much for the info. I am glad that those two can be used togther.

The I am talking about is Dr. Adam's PA. She has been a lifesaver for me.

So I will ask her about both the oxy's instead of just taking the oxycodone.

I am having to take way to many of them. I think it would be better to take

the longer lasting oxycotin and use the oxycodone for breakthrough. Dr. Adam's

mentioned it twice but we decided to keep trying the oxycodone to see if I

could get by with just that.

Thanks again for the info!
