Guest guest
thanks for the input I appreciate that. I donthink it was gas tho. I have had some gas problems before, even had an ileus at one point. So I really know how gas pains feel and your right; they hurt like crazy. Besides after the gas passes you tend to feel alot better and this had kept me quite sore. Well as long as it doesn't happen again everything will be just fine. Guest guest
Not to be an alarmist but the thought that popped into my head is a pseudo-obstruction or an intermittent one. I am thinking that maybe things were temporarily backed up...the intestine increased its peristalsis and was able to push things through. The only reason I think of this is that I am hypersensitive to that occurence because my sugeon warned me that because of the abdominal surgeries I am at risk for an obstruction...and that it can occur at anytime in my life - even decades later. So I read up on all the signs and symptoms and ran into the whole pseudo obstruction phenomenon. I wouldn't obsess over it (easy for me to say now, at the time I kinda did LOL) but maybe something to keep in mind. Laurie
