I take hydroco/Apap5-500 mg for pain and it's 1-2 tabs every 6

hours.

Hi Theresa, your right 1 Vocodan a day is nothing and would only cover

moderate pain for a few short hours. I just wanted to point out to you

that if you are taking hydrocodone/apap 5-500; thats 500 mg of tylenol

in each one. If you are taking 2 of them every 6 hours; 4 times a day;

then you are taking the maximum safe daily dosage of tylenol. Tylenol

dosage should not exceed 4grams (4000mg) a day and should not be taken

at that dose for longer then 2 weeks. Tylenol treatment for longer

then 2 weeks should not exceed 2.6 grams (2600mg) daily dosage. Too

much tylenol is bad for the liver.

I'm glad you are feeling better andhope it last a long long time.
