Kat,

You wrote, " I have 2 pancreases .. "

I am curious if that means you have a double supply of islet cells, too? Or

is your pancreas split into two pancreas and essentially has the composition

of one pancreas? It sounds like you would make an excellent candidate for a

TP/ICT as far as obtaining an adequate number of islet cells to transfer. That

seems to be such a deciding factor.

, One pancreas is said to have no function. It has tons of tiny little

ducts that don't connect or do anything , they are just there. There is a small

duct that connects the 2 pancreases. The othe pancreas has one duct that goes

the wrong way. Doc said it's like everyone else has 4 lanes of traffic and I

have one and it goes the wrong way. I have a minor pappilla, that's it. It does

not connect to the duedum. it stops short. So I wonder where allof that stuff

goes since it can not drain??? Yep, I have thought long and hard and talked to

Dr Sutherland in MN, it is my only recourse. My biliary likes to self

destruct too. The TP/ICT should help everything -Kat
