Or is your pancreas split into two pancreas and essentially has the composition of one pancreas? It sounds like you would make an excellent candidate for a TP/ICT as far as obtaining an adequate number of islet cells to transfer. That seems to be such a deciding factor. Guest guest
, One pancreas is said to have no function. It has tons of tiny little ducts that don't connect or do anything , they are just there. There is a small duct that connects the 2 pancreases. The othe pancreas has one duct that goes the wrong way. Doc said it's like everyone else has 4 lanes of traffic and I have one and it goes the wrong way. I have a minor pappilla, that's it. It does not connect to the duedum. it stops short. So I wonder where allof that stuff goes since it can not drain??? Yep, I have thought long and hard and talked to Dr Sutherland in MN, it is my only recourse. My biliary likes to self destruct too. The TP/ICT should help everything -Kat KarynWms@... wrote: " Life's Your Cup, Drink it Up " ...3 Doors Down Kathleen __________________________________________________
