Oxycontin and morphine equivalents

HI

I have recently gone from 40 mg of morphine slow release tin 2 lots of

20 mgs to 1 10 mg tablet of oxy

I tried it the forst nigth and woa the pain hit. I also see that this

is not equivalent in pain relief and have emailed my pain doc

Does anyoen know what the equivalent should be. He said these drugs

are very slow release eg over 24 hours ? is that right? he is writin

anotehr script for 10 mg in the mornign and 10 mg in the night.

Are these 24 hour pills?
