Guest guest
Hi, I am new as far as asking any questions but have been checking the emails looking for information. I have CP with a pseudocyst on the head of the pancreas. I was diagnosed a year ago last March. Found out yesterday I now have Type 2 diabetes. Was told I have stenosis and edema of the bowel. Also a small cyst has formed on the tail of the pancreas. The tail portion or half of my pancreas is dead. Have alot of pain days but do have some good days. I am on the following: 1. Pantoloc for acid control 2. Effexor for depression 3. Ativan for anxiety 4. Prochlorperazine for nausea 5. Dilaudid for pain I was wondering if anyone had any info regarding Edema of the bowel? I live in Canada and there is no specialist in this province so we have to travel to see one. My GP is contacting the specialist who had wanted to operate and connect the bowel to the duct. Not sure what he will want to do now but I am very resistant to having such a major surgery after all the complications i had during many hospital stays. Any info or insite would be appreciated. Thanks. We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery. __________________________________________________
