Guest guest
are you taking anything for nausea and vomiting? Many of us have taken reglan and zofran as well as phenergan to alleviate the nausea. WE have talked on here many times about the effects of taking a lot tylenol daily for a long period of time as it is not so good for ones liver. Vicodan and Tylenol with codeine can both have anywhere from 325 mgs per tab to 660 mgs per tab of tylenol and that may be a bit much depending on exactly how many you are currently taking each day. You may want to discuss this with your doctor to be ssure that he understands that you are taking that much and how tylenol could affect your liver. Expecially since you have said tht your liver panel has been elevated. I hope you are feeling better. when do you see the surgeon to discuss the lap chole? I know that a lot of people on here have told you some really scarey stories. However, I know of alot of people who have had theirs removed with a laparoscope and are doing just fine. My brother inlaw had an acute attack of pancreatitis from his gallbladder, had it removed and he is doing fine and its been about 4 years. Several of my girlfriends have had theirs removed and are also doing fine, not to mention the 100's of patients that I have had who had theirs removed without complications. There is always the risk tho of having a panreatic problem following it but the majority of people do not. It did worsen my condition but as it turned out my pancreas had already been damaged from a lifetime of attacks that went undiagnosed.
