Guest guest
It is yeast and light fluorisis. The antibiotics drum up plaque/yeast in mouth and sinus cavity. > > Not sure but I think that funny breath and teeth yellowing is the anti-biotics not necessarily yeast. People think nothing of putting our children on round after round of anti-biotics without 'thinking' about the consequences. > > My NT daughter, before we yanked out her adenoids & tonsils and put tubes in her ears was literally the " Anti-biotic " kid when she was a mere 2.5 years old! She was on the stuff non-stop..... very tough on the system of a little one. Of course, I knew nothing about the real effects of anti-biotics. > > When I was a kid, I was put on pencillican chronicly for tonsilitis (they didn't like to yank them in those days). Well, after a few years of being on the stuff 3 or 4 times a year, I became immune to it. So.... many anti-biotics don't even work on me! (Not good) Finally when I was 16, they pulled my tonsils and all was well. I spent 'years' being sick though. > > We need to find the 'underlying cause' of what is making your child so sick rather than medicating him non-stop? Do you have him off of milk products? My daughter ended up with a bit of hearing loss because her infection went on so long.... it is very minor though. At any rate, her issue was this infection... deep inside the ear..... every 6 weeks it would flair up, we would put her on anti-biotics and it would cease. But my ENT explained that it was not going away, just subsiding and waiting to flair up again..... thus we had chronic and recurrent infections. > > Remeber this is my NT daughter but had we not resolved this issue, I doubt that she would be NT. Because she began to drool during this process, it affected her speech and she had to go to speech therapy for about 3 years to completely overcome what this low-grade infection and done to her! Soooooo..... get into to an ENT and get your kid some tubes. Stop fiddling around with anti-biotics and get the job done. People will dispense anti-biotics as though they are giving your kid candy. (It even tastes like candy.) But if your child has 3 ear infections in one year, they need tubes. Period. Doctors have a way of convincing us they are doing right and years later we discover that we actually need to be 'pushy broads' to get our kids the attention they deserve. > > Do not be afraid of being a 'pushy broad'! Has anyone experienced yellowing teeth or plaque like build up or bad/peculiar breath with the onset of yeast infection? Just curious as I'm trying to put the pieces together of this antibiotic backlash. Thanks!
