Guest guest
I started eating peanut butter on toast at 4 weeks when I moved onto regular foods. No problems with it. Pam Mc from land MBG 9/25/00 296/

Guest guest
I tasted peanut butter... very filling, like meat or bread. Not for me yet! Trudy question Can you eat peanut butter?? Just wanted to know. I read of all the soft stuff you are eating and that is soft. I know it probably causes gas or something.... Guest guest
I wouldn't advise it. With its high fat and sugar content, peanut butter often causes severe dumping. I appreciate the help, and I will go and take those juices out of the fridge right away Thanks for your help and hope maybe you will be at either Tuesdays or Thursdays clinic for staple removal. Guest guest
Hi Carla, Im Terri and i had the MGB 12/7/00. Everything I am drinking now is supposed to be room temp. not hot or cold as the new connection between the pouch and the intestines is in the early stage of healing. I had some warm chicken broth this afternoon, but it was just above room temp. Guest guest
Carla, NOt a silly question at all. At first I couldn't drink anything real cold, it had to be just about room temp. now thank goodness I can have it cold, but still not too face, makes my new tummy feel really sick. Believe me, no question is to silly in here! And there is always someone out there that knows the answer, at least in our experience. Trudy Question Hi Everyone. Hope ya'll are all doing well, I have a question, and please dont laugh, of the post ops. I was wondering if when we had our juice and liquid stuff, if it should be around room temperature, cold, or does it matter. Any help would be appreciated. Silly Pre op, Carla MGB 12-15-
Guest guest
Carla, No question is silly. If you have that question chances are we had it too - or several other pre-ops have the same question but haven't posted it yet. I don't see any difference with temperatures. I like hot liquid better but that is just my preference. Guest guest
No, the preop test is not given by the hospital or Dr. R (at least it wasn't when I went in Nov.). I actually took the test and submitted it to Dr. R online, but that was just so I could gain more knowledge. Guest guest
What is the surgery called that removes the bad portion of the pancreas and leaves the good part in? Does anyone have any advice where that surgery is concerned? And who has had it and how successful was it? Jean
