Guest guest
Chrissy, We went to the same place, different resort, though, as this past May. It was absolutely gorgeous and the villa we stayed in was so beautifully furnished and comfortable that Bob said " I could LIVE here in a heartbeat " . It had 2 bedrooms and was right on the beach, if you spit far enough it would land in the water!! The only disappointments were that Austin had a sunburn on his face, and couldn't wear his snorkeling mask the day we hired a catamaran for an all day, fishing, snorkeling and beach barb-b-que sailing trip. Because of his Eurasian coloring, you can't tell when he's burned, and he hadn't noticed it himself until he tried to put on the mask. I felt so sorry for him because the underwater fish life was fantastic. We got some great photos of Bob swimming with the nurse sharks....but I stayed up on the boat for that adventure! No sharks for me....lol! The next day Austin and I planned to go para-sailing while Bob fished with a pilot friend of his who lives in San Pedro, and the only boat on the island that does the para-sailing trips had mechanical problems and wasn't for hire! All together it was a restful and delightful week, with no phones, computer or outside world to think about. The resort was all beachfront with a huge pool, too, so we all came back well tanned and rested. Austin starts school Tuesday, the 9th....much too soon! will be coming home for 6 days before their AEF deployment that leaves in September from San . He'll be here for his birthday, so I need to get back up to ton sometime in the next week or two to pick up that antique wall clock I bought him that's up there in N. ton being repaired. If I remember correctly, the shop is only open for customers on Mondays, so I plan to drive up early so I have the whole day free in Chs., and return to Bluffton late in the day. If you can arrange it, we could " do lunch " like we did before, so that you'd be on time to pick up your kids after school. How's that sound? I read about your career plans and think you would be wonderfully suited to be a CDNE. The one I have now is my Endo's wife, and she's okay, but not nearly as knowledgeable as I know you are and doesn't have half the personality that you do, either! And if you could work with the ICT patients, it would be ideal with your background. I'm sure that you could learn what you need to in order to take the exam, etc., without much difficulty. I imagine the pay is probably pretty good, too. Let me know how that goes, and also expect a call about the lunch date. I have to call the clock shop Monday, and will know more then about my future schedule, okay? With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
