After I posted this message, I realized I wasn't

clear. My mother does not have intestinal problems

but has been drinking homemade " Gatoraide " because of

the heat.

She now has shingles, and I thought that cutting out

sugar would help boost her immune system. Eliminating

sugar without eliminating starch will not help someone

with intestinal issues. I don't want to confuse any

newbies.

I believe SCD is a healthy way for anyone to eat. As

we have seen on this list, many times parents eat SCD

along with their child and find that their headaches

and other health problems disapper.
