Thanks, Sheila. This looks good. I have a problem

with honey, but I was asking for my mother, who also

has a problem with honey.

I haven't been able to get her to try SCD, but she has

a severe case of shingles, and I would think that at

least cutting out white sugar would help her. She

drinks a solution like Elaine's electrolyte drink but

with (illegal) sugar, so I was trying to find a

substitute.

Then I saw that you had shingles last year. Is there

anything else that you found that helped? She's been

in agony for six weeks now.

My MIL saw the rash as soon as it broke out and said it looked like

shingles. I was able to get on the antiviral drug within 72 hours. I

think that made the biggest difference.
