Guest guest
There is a link between cholesterol and pancreatitis. When I was first having attacks (idiopathic) my PMD told me the main causes of pancreatitis are alcohol, drug use and high cholesterol (extremely high). Then it goes to gallstones etc. I didn't have any of them mine is genetic (after testing) but I wondered if the cholesterol had anything to do with it because there is a genetic disposition in my mothers family to high cholesterol. Just any FYI that there is a link. Theresa
