It has been a long time since I posted last. I have had trouble with posting

and think I have the problem fixed now. Anyway I am still seeing the guy that I

met back in June. He knows about my CP and still wants to continue the

relationship. It scares me because when I was married my husband left me

because i was so sick. It stays in my mind. That is why I haven't dated since

my divorce over a year ago. This is the first guy. I've told him that the real

test will be when I get real sick again and see if he sticks around. So far

I've done very well. I did have some pain after helping him load some equipment

in his truck. His kids ages 5 and 6 also want me to carry them all the time. I

only start hurting if I do it for a length of time and if I do I take the

ibuprofen and it goes away. I do see my surgeon next week for a follow-up of my

surgery. I keep praying that the pain will stay away for along time but I just

take one day at a time because I know it is inevitable

that an attack will come and then I will have to have the WHipple.

Patty,

It's great to hear from you again, and so nice to know that things are

still working out so well with your new fella. He sounds as though

your having CP isn't going to turn him away, and that's important for

both of you.

Don't worry about the future, just take it one day at a time and don't

dwell on the " what could happen " aspect. It may never happen at all.

Your surgery seems to have been a great success.

Keep in touch and let us know how thing work out.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
