Guest guest
I am on a graduated return to work, due a work accident head injury My boss a south african is a bullly. I have just recieved an email from him after he left a message. I am not working today and he was very nasty. He is trying to get me to do 40 hours work in 15 hours. He also has set all my taregts the same even though I missed the first motnh of the year. I have now recieved a nasty email at home, with a read reciept which I have said no dont acknowledge. Due to his last minute meetign hwen he hauled me into the office ot mark me as average after I won 6 sales awards last financial he marked me as average on all categories. He also sent me a quarterly target settings where he falsified what was in the meeting and I recived this on th eday of my accident. I have been off since then eg the quarter finished on 30 June. He has marke dme on this without asking me what I did, and sent it off for salary review. No allowance was made for me being away. I had no notice nor was I shown a copy of his review comments He bullies me and has again reduced me to tears. I wasnt answering his call so he sent an email to my home and I got stresses seeign it. I have left a message for the occupational therapist to call me and to say I was deeply upset. This upsets Colin as well. Any ideas with how to deal with this bully thanks Debs
Guest guest
Deb, Why not speak with his boss, or the bigger boss if there is one. A friend of mine did that and heads rolled after a similar type of deception was uncovered... When I worked for the NAB in Sydney, we were always told if we didn't feel comfortable in taking complaints to our immediate supervisor or manager, or had complaints about them, to feel free to speak with the Department Head. I never had to fortunately, but there is no reason why someone shouldn't feel that they can't go higher up. Sometimes it is intimidation by the immediate supervisor, or the big bosses don't make it known that they are willing to listen. Sometimes they need to find out about these problems, because when they don't hear of them, they think everything is hunky dory in little people's departments and everyone is happy and okay with everything, when the real truth is that Deb is crying because of nasty emails, and unfair wages due to biased or unfair reports about her that she isn't even made aware of. Go for it....it might be daunting, but the big boss is a human too and likely wasn't always at the top of the ladder.. Regards,
Guest guest
Debs, Dear Debs, I thought 's advice was so on target, and it looks like you did, too. Let's get some heads rolling and let it be the bully's. You GO, Girl! Take a spot off your feet and get that iron deficiency taken care of, too. Did they give you supplements for that or can you get some injections to bring it up. Here they give people monthly injections when a person gets that low. Are you still on Antox? Take care of yourself and remember to hug your mum today...:-) With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
