Guest guest
I was quite suprised when the Dr. told me that. I so hope this migrates out! In your case when the stent was lodged deep in the pancreas, how did they remove it? Thats frightening. Yeah I was so glad I came home. I was scared to death. I am having pain today, nothing I can't handle. I didn't have hardly any pain yesterday. thanks so much for the support! Toni
Guest guest
Toni, they were able to visibly see it about 5cm into my pancreas, as there was a polyp blocking my duct at 4cm, and when they pulled that out, they saw the duct. I guess they used what they had been using to remove the polyp to grab the stent...I didn't ask that question..was just glad it was out, and I haven't had pancreatitis since, so they managed to remove 2 blockages and free the duct from scar tissue that was putting major pressure on it. I still have biliary duct spasms, but isn't anything I can't handle... Regards,
