Guest guest
Hi everybody, My name is Alana. My thirteen year old daughter who has ever- worsening Autism (Asperger's) is starting SCD today. The good news is, is that I can be sure she will be 100% compliant with the diet since she's that way. More good news is, is that this diet is about 95% the same as a diet my doc has me on for hypoglycemia...SO, it will make kitchen work easier. She's been on GFCF since just before Easter of this year and is on dietary enzymes. It's helped some with her communication ability, but there's still lots of head-banging going on. I noticed that her enzymes are SCD compatible, so she'll probably keep taking them. I read the book yesterday. It makes so much sense! I'd also like to know about alfalfa sprouts that someone asked about. I'll be quiet now, and keep reading and learning as much as I can. Today, I suppose, it's chicken soup time! And I'm trying to make a decision about probiotics...suppose I should start some now, and then try the goat yogurt in about a month. Strapping myself down for Bethany's die-off reactions now. warmly, Alana mom to DD 13 with worsening Asperger

They may not be for those just starting but as symptoms improve you could try the deseeded sprouts. <<I'll be quiet now, and keep reading and learning as much as I can. > > Today, I suppose, it's chicken soup time!
