Guest guest
Hi jo, <<Please look at my sons diet and see what I could change. He doesn't > get very many foods cuz he will have seizures with the wrong foods.>> > organic turkey > green beans > cauliflower > salmon > peppers (all colors) > olive oil (no olives though) > > This morning we had to take avocados out of his diet. <<He has been off all the offending supplements for about 2 weeks. His stools are starting to form, loosely formed that is. They are green. He has about 3-5 stools a day. I will be starting him on a legal probiotic Wednesday when it comes.>> If his stool continues to firm up you can probably stay with the veggies and foods that he is having now. If things don't you can remove cauliflower and peppers, cook green beans until soft and puree the beans. I guess he doesn't tolerate carrots (cooked 4 hours to be very soft and pureed) or squash? Do you make a broth with the turkey and turkey bones - that may be helpful. It may take a while to get his system cleared out but it is a good sign that his stool is firming up already. Guest guest
>To all you kind people who responded. I know it's not like a permanent thing, my son having seizures to food. I'm starting to grasp that it is a digestive reaction, so to speak. So when he starts getting better, I can add foods back. I could never understand why he sometimes could eat certain foods, and other times not. Maybe it was because his digestive system was working better at certain times. Does that sound right? Would I be pureeing the foods to help his digestion? I take it the raw peppers are a no-no? I will try the carrots again. 2 different drs. taught us how to do muscle testing to see what he was having a reaction to. It really really works. I tried it immediately on things I knew would throw him into alot of grand mals, like cashews and then things that I knew were safe for him and it really works. I don't understand how, but I don't care. It has really helped. I have not been able to find a single turkey for my son. I would love to make him a broth. He can only eat the Jennie-o brand. We have tried every organic farmer around and just can't find any. That will al change soon, I know. Thanks for all your help! jo > Hi jo, > > <<Please look at my sons diet and see what I could change. Guest guest
Hi, I've heard about muscle testing from Wayne Dyers regarding music (good, bad, etc.). Can you explain how to do it with food? Is it held in one hand with another person testing you...or feel free to email me off-list at texdebl@... Guest guest
Hi jo, <<So when he starts> getting better, I can add foods back. I could never understand why he> sometimes could eat certain foods, and other times not. Maybe it was> because his digestive system was working better at certain times.> Does that sound right?>> It is possible. << Would I be pureeing the foods to help his> digestion?>> Peeling, cooking until soft and pureeing foods aids in digestion - the body doesn't have to work so hard to get nutrients. << I take it the raw peppers are a no-no?>> Raw foods are harder to digest for a damaged gut. <<I will try the carrots again.>> If you do carrots please prepare them as per the directions for the chicken soup in BTVC. Simmered for 4 hours and pureed. Some think they don't tolerate carrots but really they aren't cooking them long enough or they stop pureeing them too soon.
