Guest guest
Well, I haven't had an attack since September 2003. But today when I got up and sat on the edge of my bed, I got that same familiar, can't take a deep breath without it feeling all twisted, pain and nausea..but as soon as I stand up, it's completely gone. It is around my gallbladder area, but I don't have my gallbladder..so I am thinking that it might be my liver. I can't remember which hospital visit it was..(think it might have been September's surgery), a doctor was feeling around my abdomen and got worried that my liver was swollen as she could feel it about 3 inches below my ribcage. Found that it was normal size, but had dropped below my ribcage, possibly from all my surgeries and missing stomach muscles...so I'm putting it down to either pressure on my liver from sitting down, or scar tissue is beginning to press on my organs...either way I think it's going to suck big time trying to fix it... I'm having an endoscopy/flexible sigmoidoscopy tomorrow, so will ask my GI then...perhaps the fun and games are beginning again...I sure hope not. Guest guest
I hope everything goes well tomorrow and your pain is gone. It really must stink to be free of pain for so long and then have it reappear. Hopefully it will be something not too difficult to mend. You're in my prayers.
