Guest guest
Hi Goran, <<*If* he has a yeast problem the bananas may make it worse. So, Im not sure, I stop Nystatine, wait for few weekks to recover > from this shock, and we start SCD.... so I need to perform a test in Paris or in USA for candida and many other issues.... > > Is yeast a problem?>> Everybody has yeast in their body. If the yeast become to numerous then it is a problem. If the yeast is in small enough numbers being on the diet may be enough for him - he may not need other meds or yeast treatments. What may help ensure that yeast do not become a problem is taking probiotics and/or fermented food like yogurt. <<<<Brakfast is my problem, eggs, banana etc... not sure what to give > him else....????>> > > I like canned wild salmon with homemade mayo, cooked fruit and > yogurt, pancakes made with nut flour, omelettes (with or without > cheese), eggs benedict, bacon., avocado pancakes (2 eggs whipped with > a ripe avocado), salmon cakes (eggs & canned salmon mixed together). > --- Is canned salmon SCD legal, (canned???), >> Canned fish with water, oil and/or salt is legal. No sauces, sugars etc.. <<---I think that I can find here salmon frosen, is it SCD legal... >> Frozen salmon whith no illegals is fine. <<-Another, salmon is a sea fish???-is it safe to eat?? from metals, mercury, I was adviced not to give my son sea fish, reg the mercury and metals that contain in sea fish???>> Some avoid all seafood. Others use the smaller fish , like salmon, or even smaller fish like sardines. Smaller fish don't have as high amounts of heavy metals but it also depends on where the fish are from. Maybe others will tell you about seafood and their kids. <<--Bacon, as I understand bacon is a meat and fat, we have here smoken and regular bacon, is it safe to use bacon in summer time, no too much fat???>> I use sugar free bacon and I like it pretty crisp - most of the fat fries out of it and i drain it on paper towel. << I need to ask you one more: > Here in Macedonia, we prepare a home made tomato juice for the winter time, so I will explain how we prepare and is it SCD legal for use: We put the tomatoes in hot water for few minutes and take them out. Tomato meat become easier for ground. Peel the skin out. Than, we dround them in special hand machines and only the juice goes out, Than, put in large kettle and boil for 30 minutes (natural pasterisation) and after put in to a bottle-1l, sealed. No any other aditives and its very taste... We use it to put in meals or to drink it as juice... Guest guest
Goran, try not to eat anything out of a can , since this is aluminum and is a heavy metal, we already know that our children were affected by the heavy metals from the vaccines.. so stay away from canned goods if possible… Try to have fresh salmon if available… but as a last resort, use it sparingly… Hope this helps… Corinne _____ From: pecanbread [mailto:pecanbread ] On Behalf Of Wizop Marilyn L. Yes, canned salmon, so long as they haven't added any illegals, like " vegetable broth " (which, in the US, is soy broth and MSG) to it. Mercury can be a concern, but there are some brands which say they are mercury free. (I can't tell you which ones, as I don't eat much salmon. I live in New Orleans, and we have wonderful shrimp, crab, oysters, catfish, and red-fish, wild caught available here.) >> Bacon, as I understand bacon is a meat and fat, we have here smoken and regular bacon, is it safe to use bacon in summer time, no too much fat??? << My husband and I bake our bacon, on a rack, over a pan in the oven. We bake it at 300F (149C) for 30 minutes to an hour. This cooks almost all the extra fat out, and makes the bacon flat and very crisp. The one thing to check is that the bacon you use is not cured with sugar, the way so many North American brands are. >> Here in Macedonia, we prepare a home made tomato juice for the winter time, so I will explain how we prepare and is it SCD legal for use: We put the tomatoes in hot water for few minutes and take them out.
