Guest guest
Hi folks- Sheila mentioned water from green coconuts is not legal. We usually drink Vita Coco- is that considered legal? It doesn't say green coconuts, but I am nervous now.... Tracey
Guest guest
We don't know if they have added anything to it, and the website FAQ pages says it's from " tender, young, green coconuts " . Illegal, I would think. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
Hi Tracey, Their webste says it is green coconut water. (If it is this http://www.vitacoco.com/vitacocohtml/fag.htm It has a green coconut on the carton) Green coconut (& its' water, kefir, flesh ..)is illegal because unripe fruits are not legal. Also, commercial nutmilks are not legal - because of the addition of illegals which may or may not be on labels. There are fairly easy recipes for making your own at http://pecanbread.com/ Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and > Hi folks- > Sheila mentioned water from green coconuts is not legal.
