Guest guest
Hi all, I am looking to purchase a nut milk maker and see that one person has already said good things about the Soyquick model. I am wondering if anyone is familiar with the Soyabella model? I just want to make sure I get one that works well and cleans up easily. Thank you in advance! Guest guest
These Nutmilk Makers sound cool, but I have to ask. What exactly do they do? I mean, do they do something different than a blender strainer combo can't? I love kitchen gadgets, but I seem to have too many, so before I get one - just wanted to know what the advantage was. Thanks, Seth
Guest guest
I have a soymilk maker it makes nut milk too. Well what it does is, I can put nuts in and water and leave it for 15 minutes then I have milk.(Soylife) same as Soy Quick) What's important to me is one jug to clean. Its really easy. My milk maker makes raw or cooked milks. I do it cooked. I actually have not tried raw milk. I really like my gadgets too, but they all have a purpose to make my life easier. I make fresh juice for my family every morning ( green star juicer) , I make muffins with lots of vegetables steamed and ground every night for the morning breakfast(KitchenAid professional). Then of course supplement 3 times aday x 3 kids. So if a gadget saves me time I buy it. I have been using the milk maker for 3 years. I would be great to do a side by side test of them. To find out how much milk each one makes and how easy they are to clean. Guest guest
, How do you make muffins out of ground up veggies? I couldn't imagine. Guest guest
I use one head of broccoli a bit bigger than a fist, 6 stem of spinach 6 carrot. I steam the carrots until half done then I add the broccoli and spinach. I cook until the carrots are soft. I then put all veg in the food processor and grind up with honey and oil. I mix it until the veg don't look like veg ( baby food) I then add the eggs to the mix and then ad it to the almond flour mixture. The reason I do this is Jada our 5 year old has autism and is very picky. She refuses to eat vegetables. So this is one way I can fool her. I also add cooked ground chicken. They taste great. Just like carrot muffins with lots of cinnamon. Tara www.wildcharmbengals.com www.kentaraexcavating.com Re: Nut milk makers > > > These Nutmilk Makers sound cool, but I have to ask.
