Guest guest
I don't have any medical problems that CP has caused, but I have illnesses that have caused my CP, yet not the typical type of thing. Here's how mine began I inheredited Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP), a pre colon cancer condition. Polyps grow in my duodenum as well as my colon, and unfortunately, one grew at my Papilla which blocked my duct. It was one step away from becoming cancerous, so they had to remove the entire lining of my duodenum and resect the pancreatic duct. This then caused excessive scarring (another side effect of FAP) to grow and put pressure on my duct. Also a polyp grew inside my pancreas (about 4cm in). The scar tissue was removed, as was the polyp. Then on top of that benign tumours were found on my pancreas and other various parts of my abdomen and organs and in the mesentary of my small intestines. All of this was thought to help in causing my attacks. So far all tumours have been removed with some just disappearing on their own accord (those were the inoperable ones), so my family and I believe the man from up above took those from me, and I had been left pain free from CP for over 2 years up until Sunday. My liver has dropped because of all my surgeries and loss of stomach muscle and I have been described by one doctor as having a jungle of adhesions inside me now...so it could be the scar tissue growing back, or my liver..or just because I've gone so long without the CP pain... I do know that my endoscopy/colonoscopy showed up a few polyps at the papilla again, but were only small and were removed, as were 3 in my rectum, and he pulled out many from my polyp ridden stomach..so hopefully i'll be good for another 6 months time..
