Guest guest
Hello All- My daughter's recent colonoscopy/endoscopy results proved to be absolutely normal...I am just wondering if it is possible that this diet is necessary for someone with normal results...I know that my daughter is doing sooooooo much better on the diet, but I can't figure out if the normal results mean that she is dealing with a whole nother issue. Through our homeopath it was revealed that she had yeast issues, as well as heavy metal issues, but I am confused as to the " normal " results of these tests. She seems to do well only on the lamb, squash, scd yogurt diet. I added 4 hour cooked pureed green beans a few days ago and it seems to have had a bad affect. I am cutting them out and going back to the original 3 items. This is so hard, if anyone has had a similar experience I would love to hear about it. Her behavior has improved 100 percent, as well as her sleep. Confused!!! Susie Hansen mother of 3 yo undiagnosed ella scd 8/2/
Guest guest
Hi Susie, We have had several parents on this list whose children did well with SCD despite the fast that they did not display the usual symptoms of digestive distress. Bacterial toxins can impair the GI tract but sometimes they do not do injury to the digestive system but do damage to other parts of the body. http://microbialinfluence.com/ How LPS, a bacterial toxin affects the symptoms of autism http://microbialinfluence.com/Vegan2/vegan.html " Scientists from all over the world have found that bacterial toxins, especially LPS, play a central role in diseases of inflammation. Most chronic diseases of affluence are diseases of inflammation and they include diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and even certain forms of cancer. " Do continue SCD!! it is the best diet for controlling all the damage from bacterial toxins.
