Guest guest
I had my gall bladder removed 6 weeks ago to help eliminate my pancreas episodes. I now have pain on a scale of 6 to 9, depending upon how much activity I have done during the day. It is located below my right rib cage that travels down toward my navel. The surgeon said he probably damaged a nerve near the incision closest to my rib cage. Does anyone know what this nerve may be called? I searched the internet for nerves in that area, but to no avail. I'm going to see the head of the GI department to discuss this but I would like to be educated before I see him regarding that particular nerve. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Lukowsky Merbenz47@...
Guest guest
Try Celiac Plexus...that is the nerve they block to help control chronic pancreatitis pain. I am not sure if that is the nerve name you are looking for or not. Hope this helps! Hugs, Suzi B. Colorado
