Guest guest
Soda and tea are a " no no " per Dr. R. Its in the manual. Guest guest
My goodness you have been though a lot these last few years. Taking care of an ill loved one can be very difficult. There is an actual diagnosis of this. Its called " care giver role strain " . It can lead to a lot of stress and we all know how stress can affect our bodies as well as our immune system. Do you take any vitamins? HOney, I am not trying to be nosey and if you dont care to answer I will respect that. But what did the doctor say to you anyway to get you this upset? I know your strength and hearing how you were after the appt has me a bit concerend. If you already posted it I'm sorry, but I must have missed it. I have had a really bad week. Do you have home health nurses who come to see ? They can have a person come in daily to make sure he is bathed and what not and having that kind of help you do you a world of good. I know you said he is getting physical therapy. You can get nurses and nurses aids from the same group to come to your home. If I lived closer honey, I would be there. 's idea of you taking a mini vacation is a good one. I know you will it would be impractable for you to do that at this time; but you are certainly not going to be able to do anybody any good if you allow your health to decline. Maybe if you could just steal a few hours a day away doing something you enjoy. Is there a recreation department in your town? I got a little newspaper today about the offereings at the one near me. There were quite a few classes I would enjoy and was even thinking about signing up for a Belly dancing class. They offer houndreds of classes as the center here and they are rather cheap. I think working on a potters wheel and making stuff with clay would be very relaxing and fun. Please think about it and try to take care of yourself, just a little bit each day, just steal it away for Jean. With love, (SC)
