Hi, jo,

Cauliflower is not recommended early in the diet. But is he handling

it ok? Was it the only new thing you added when you started it? Did

you watch for reactions for a few days before trying another new

thing? Did you do the intro diet?

A couple of bananas a day is fine. Work up to that amount. Some even

give the kids 3 or 4 bananas a day early on when other choices are so

limited and then reduce the number after there are more things the kids

can eat. I would do the banana about 3 days before I tried something

else.

I would give him some time to heal before starting any nut butters

(cake). You'll get better results if you don't rush!

Some days are good, as far as being active or talkative and seizure

activity, and some days are bad. He was already eating the

cauliflower when we started the diet. The foods I listed are the

foods he was on when I started the diet, so today is the first day I

tried anything new. Now that he has formed stools, I guess a change

in that would tell me he was having a problem with something. Right?

Thanks,

jo
