Guest guest
Hi : Other than nuts what can I use for his baked goods? Allergic to coconut...my also can not tolerate the high D-Lactate that is in Acidophlilus (Yogurt). Is there any other probiotic I can use to make the goat yogurt? Thanks Jeanne julie46250 wrote: Hi, Jeanne, Mimi is not able to be on the list very often anymore. I will try to explain. Nuts are something we don't recommend at the beginning of the diet, but only after some healing has occurred. If you consume yogurt along with nuts and other high oxalate foods, then the probiotic in the yogurt enables the body to get rid of the oxalates. Probiotics in capsules would help, too. Do not make nuts too big a part of your diet. I would not advise substituting with pumpkin seed flour. Seeds themselves are advanced; they have a very fibrous coating. Any seed flour would be extremely advanced because of the quantity you would use. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/04 For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and http://www.pecanbread.com
