Hi, my son is new to the diet (he's 9, with autism and seizures). His

diet has been very scant because he was having seizures and it was

thought to be from the foods cuz he was tested and everything came

back saying so.

I understand now that it wasn't an allergic reaction but that he

couldn't digest that particular food. Most foods, I should say.

His diarrhea has been gone a few days. He has regressed since

starting the diet, which is normal I know. He's starting to perk back

up but not back to himself yet.

He is taking a legal multi and probiotic. The yogurt maker and

starter are ordered. I will be using fresh goat milk from my back

yard. I tried this years ago but he had seizures from what I thought

was an allergy to the milk.

I find the book a little unclear, although I've read it a few times.

This is what he's eating now. turkey, olive oil, green beans, salmon

and cauliflower.

I gave him 1/2 ripe banana this morning.

How long should I wait to try something new. How often can I give him

banana (he LOVED it)!

What should I add next and after that, etc...I'm am a little confused

like I said and yet am thrilled to know that I can increase his diet.

I need some guidelines cuz he has been so deprived I want to just

jump right in and make him a legal cake!

Please, some help before dinner.

Thank you so much!
